Port Orchard Sand & Gravel is seeking safety-focused and customer-oriented Aggerate Delivery Professionals to join our team in Kitsap County Washington.  If you are an experienced driver looking for a stable, rewarding career with a company that values safety, professionalism and teamwork, this is the opportunity for you!

 

What You’ll Do

  • Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety, environmental and DOT regulations.
  • Ensure product quality and order accuracy.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships by providing professional and courteous service.
  • Keep your truck clean and free of buildup, for optimal performance and professional appearance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2 years’ experience preferred.
  • Class A CDL license (double endorsement preferred but required for belly dump) and current DOT medical card.
  • Clean, insurable driving record.
  • Be able to listen, follow directions, and communicate with dispatcher, co-workers and customers in a diplomatic manner.
  • General knowledge of local area a plus (Kitsap Co).
  • Able to handle working in adverse weather conditions.
  • Drug free.
  • Strong understanding of safe driving practices and DOT regulations.
  • Flexibility to work varying start times, overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed.
  • Familiarity with the local delivery routes and job sites a plus.
