Miles Sand & Gravel Company has been a trusted name in the industry for over 80 years, and we are seeking safety-focused and customer-oriented Aggregate Plant Labor & Maintenance / Cleanup person to join our team in Western Washington. WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Maintain & Repair Equipment: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on aggregate plants and mobile equipment.
• Perform lube oil needs.
• Safety & Compliance: Work at heights, in confined spaces, and dusty environments using proper PPE including full-face respirators. Follow all company safety protocols.
• Operate Machinery: Safely operate loaders, bulldozer, excavator, forklifts, man-lifts, and related equipment.
• Perform tasks with basic hand tools.
• Operate electric and pneumatic power tools.
• Housekeeping: Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and organized.
• Hard physical labor in any environment and extensive work with a shovel.
• Flexibility: Available to work occasional overtime, including some Saturdays, and travel between sites.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
• Self-motivated, dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Communications: be able to listen, follow directions, self-motivated & communicate with co-workers.
• Proficiency/Dexterity: need to work fast and safe while performing task required
• Stamina: need to be able to lift up to 100 lbs. and able to stand or kneel & work in dirty, wet or undesirable conditions for long periods of time.
• Team Player: be reliable and dependable to co-workers
• Valid Class B CDL (Class A preferred), current DOT medical card, and an insurable driving record.

• $29.81 to $39.75 per hour.
