DISPATCH AND CUSTOMER SERVICE INTERN

Job Description:

This opening is for High School students 16 – 18.

Skills INTERN may receive Training on:

• All aspects of dispatch including ready-mix, aggregates and intercompany transport of various types of equipment and materials (cross training).
• Crossed trained as a certified weighmaster for various scales.
• Answer phones, quote and enter orders, recommend products for various applications.
• Coordinate and schedule personnel and equipment while ensuring customer satisfaction and company efficiency.
• Relay directions and order information clearly and accurately.
• Review upcoming orders for accuracy.
• Timely completion of day-to-day office tasks such as data entry, misc. paperwork, filing etc.
• Possible growth into end of day truck dispatching.
• Other duties within the dispatch department.
