Electrician Assistant

Company: Miles Sand & Gravel Company
Location: Roy, WA
Position Type: Full Time, Entry level
Hours: Monday - Friday, Primarily Day Shift (times may vary)
Application Closing Date: June 30, 2023 or until filled
Compensation: $28.80 - $32.20

Job Description:

  • Wiring in motors, MCC’s and control circuits.
  • Running wire and conduit.
  • Inspect and test components of electrical systems including transformers.
  • Conduct annual ground fault tests.
  • High voltage work.
  • General cleanup duties.

Job Skills and Requirements:

  • Hardworking and dependable individual.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Must have a clean and insurable driving record.
  • Able to operate small power tools safely and effectively.
  • Able to lift heavy objects safely.
  • Drug free.
  • Able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues.
  • Willing to work overtime and occasional weekends and holidays.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude, and ability to perform regular manual labor.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Be able to learn by observation and hands-on experience.
  • Follow routine verbal and written instructions.
