Job Description:
Troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions, drive train components, undercarriage, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatics, fuel systems, PLCs, heating and air conditioning, and other related items.
Comprehend, and apply electrical and hydraulic schematics to repair work.
Disassemble, clean, recondition, inspect, assemble, and test components.
Demonstrate the ability to use diagnostic equipment and specialty tools to troubleshoot and repair components.
Make field and emergency repairs as necessary.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and service manuals.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Skills and Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of mechanical experience and/or education on yellow iron equipment.
Caterpillar experience preferred.
Welding and fabricating a plus.
Must possess a complete set of heavy equipment tools and a roll-a-way tool box necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
Clean, insurable driving record, CDL a plus.
Drug free.
